In my twenties, I worked at the same company as President Ideta. Later, I went independent—running my own business in this field for a while, and also gaining experience as a mechanic and in road service. Then, eight years later, President Ideta invited me back to the world of car auctions, where we purchase and export used cars.
To be honest, I had never truly let go of this business. I loved it so much that even after leaving, the desire to continue remained. But I kept it buried deep inside. What made this job so meaningful to me was the sense that by exporting Japanese cars and earning foreign currency, I was helping enrich Japan itself. That feeling—“the more cars we sell, the wealthier this country becomes”—was unforgettable.
もう一度、情熱を注ぎたい。
8年ぶりにこの世界に復帰 Returning after eight years,
ready to give my passion once more.
When President Ideta reached out, I thought seriously about my future—how I wanted to work, how I wanted to live. I knew I wanted to come back, but this wasn’t just any job to me. It’s where I began; it’s my foundation. Having worked in this business for years, I knew its toughness, but also carried my own pride and principles. I couldn’t do it half-heartedly—it had to be with full power.
I also felt strongly that if I returned, I had to deliver results worthy of that decision. It required real resolve. But the president’s passion moved me, and I decided: I’ll give everything I have to this company once again. Another big motivation was my children. They’re still young, and I wanted them to see their father working with all his heart.

組織基盤づくりをめざす Building a foundation
for steady, sustainable growth.
Since joining, it’s been all-out effort every day. I feel like I’m constantly being sharpened and challenged. The company culture is open and free, yet there’s also discipline where it matters. It feels like the president is running at full speed, and all of us are chasing after him as hard as we can. Working alongside him, I’m often amazed by his thoroughness—so this is what it takes to truly lead a company to success.
Looking ahead, I want to help build the organizational foundation that will allow this company to keep growing steadily. President Ideta has grown the company to where it is today, and I want to strengthen it further so it can be passed on to the next generation. To achieve that, developing young talent is essential. If we can nurture people who eventually can go overseas on their own business trips, I believe this company will become even stronger.
