Magari Japan began when I moved to Canada in my 20s, admiring Mr. Soichiro Honda, the founder of Honda Motor Co., Ltd. I had no connections and could not speak English, all I had was 1.5 million yen and a ‘passion for cars’.I started from scratch in Canada , but with the support of the people I met and my natural luck, I was able to get a job as an auto mechanic. When I first moved to Canada, I thought, “Someday, I would like to start a business that imports foreign model Honda cars back into Japan,” but while living there, I realized that “Japanese used cars are in demand overseas.” Overseas used car markets are much more vibrant than in Japan, and the value of Japanese used cars is by far the highest. There was a huge market there that we didn’t know about.
After that, I returned to Japan and gained experience at a used car export company, and in 2009 I started “Magari Japan”. At that time, we expanded into African countries, which were still untapped markets for Japanese car exports, and by visiting the countries frequently and communicating directly with people, we understood their culture and common sense of business, and built relationships of trust. Currently, we are doing business with many countries around the world, mainly in Africa, North America/Caribbean countries, and Europe. Even in the online world, we value face-to-face communication, and building relationships of trust. That is also our greatest strength.
「情熱とワクワク」を社会とシェアしたいShare “passion and excitement” with society.
Since our founding, we have expanded our business to various countries including African countries. We do business with many countries that Japanese people are not familiar with, such as African and Caribbean countries. Although the culture and way of thinking of each country is different, the passion of “a love of cars” and the pride of “having knowledge and skills about cars that are second to none” are common in all countries. I have taken on many challenges so far, but the driving force behind all of them has been “passion.” Driven by passion, I continued to take action and am now where I am today. Magari Japan will continue to cherish the feeling of excitement and challenge various businesses according to our passion. By sharing our passion and excitement with society, we hope to create a future that is exciting for both children and adults

「夢を持つことの大切さ」を伝える 「KANSAI SOCCER FES」に協賛しています
We support “KANSAI SOCCER FES” that conveys the importance of having dreams
“KANSAI SOCCER FES” is an event that was started with the passion of former J-League player Yusuke Tanaka, who said, “I want to create an experience that children can engage in seriously and be absorbed in.” Through the experience of running around on the field to your heart’s content with professional soccer players, we convey to the children who will lead the next generation the importance of having dreams. Having a dream is the greatest driving force for working on something passionately. Magari Japan supports this initiative and would like to support children’s ability to make their dreams come true.
地域の親子に向けて 夏休みイベントを開催しています
Summer vacation events for local parents and children
Magari Japan’s office is located near Kouroen Elementary School in Nishinomiya City. Every summer, we enjoy a hands-on event where we take out giant stag beetle eggs from trees together with local children. This event is very popular with children and has become a beloved annual event in the community. The larvae of the giant stag beetle are presented to the children. Please raise them with care in your family until they hatch.
